It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Keith Allen Cooper, "Keithy," who departed this world on November 19, 2025, of Simpsonville, Kentucky, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on July 15, 1980, in New Albany, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Elizabeth "Libby" Cooper, along with his grandmothers, Juanita Dooley and Kathryn Hibbard, have welcomed him into eternal peace.
Keith dedicated 24 years of his life to his career as a Foreman for National Environmental Contracting and was a long-term member of the Abatement Workers local 207. His unwavering dedication to his work and the community showcased his hard-working nature. Keith exemplified a personality that could not only light up any room with his smile and laughter but also never met a stranger. He was known for his kindness and caring attitude, making a positive impact on all those who crossed his path.
A proud graduate of Eastern High School, Keith cherished a life filled with countless memories. He took great delight in hobbies that included riding his Harley, hunting, and farming. Yet, the greatest pride of his life was his daughter, Jessica Cooper, who carries forward his legacy of love and dedication.
Keith leaves behind his beloved wife, Tracey, and his daughter, Jessica Gaddie-Cooper. He is also survived by his brother, Joey (Shellie) Cooper, and his sister, Kathryn Cooper Pruitt (Galen), along with a host of nieces and nephews, as well as Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and his beloved In-Laws who will deeply miss his presence.
A visitation will be held in his honor on November 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM, both at the Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville, located at 235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243.
As we remember Keith, let us carry forward the love, laughter, and kindness that he embodied throughout his life. He will forever remain in our hearts and memories.
