Larry Wayne Williams, a beloved son, father, brother, fiancé, and grandfather, embarked on his final journey on November 17, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on July 3, 1961, in the heart of Louisville, a city that bore witness to the vibrant life he would lead.

Larry’s eyes sparkled with mischief and warmth, a reflection of his sarcastic and witty personality that drew people in like moths to a flame. He was a man who could light up a room with a well-timed joke or a sharp observation, making even the most mundane moments worth relishing.

A graduate of Bishop David High School in 1979, Larry later shaped his career at Butternut Bread and John Conti, working diligently and often with humor that delighted his colleagues. His laughter was as generous as his spirit, and he found joy in every endeavor. Beyond work, he was known for his love of poker, an ardent fan of UK, and an aficionado of horse racing—interests that spoke to his zest for life.

At the core of Larry’s existence was his devotion to family. He leaves behind his loving fiancé, Regan Lage, whose shared laughter and joy reflected the deep bond they cultivated. Larry was a proud father to his children: Amy Bond (Bart), Larry Williams Jr., and Sarah Williams (Shane). The embrace of a father weighed warmly upon their hearts, a constant reminder of his love. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Clarissa Bond, Bridget Bond, Jace Schneider, and Lotus Williams, each a piece of him that will forever illuminate their lives.

He is survived by a close-knit family, including his mother, Delores Piper (Carroll (CB), sister Karen Bloch (Michael), brother David Williams (Andrew), step-brother Roger Dale Piper (Barbara), and step-sister Robin McClure (Mike). Together, they mourn a remarkable man whose laughter and spirit will echo in their memories.

Larry was preceded in death by, father Leo Williams, step-mother Merilee Williams, step-sister JoAnn, and step-brother Robert "Bobby" Hart.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Larry’s life on December 6, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville, beginning with visitation at 2 PM, followed by a memorial service at 4 PM. This gathering will be a testament to the adventures he lived and the love he shared, as we honor the legacy of a man whose sarcastic wit brought joy to our hearts. In our hearts, Larry will forever remain—lively, loving, and ever so unforgettable.
