Michael Lee Correll

Michael Lee Correll, 61, of Westminster, SC, passed away into the arms of Jesus on December 1, 2025, at Hospice of the Upstate in Anderson, SC. Born on July 21, 1964, in Asheville, NC, and raised in Black Mountain, NC. Michael was the son of the late James Henry Correll and Lela Nancy Ann Pettit Correll.
Michael was the devoted and thoughtful friend. He loved the outdoors and anything with the outdoors. He was a natural at fixing almost anything. He was a handy-man of all sorts. Many of times, Michael, gave his natural talent and gift of fixing things to others at no cost. He loved hunting. As Veteran, Michael served his country in Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan. In the end, even though he was sick, his deep love for Jesus showed to others. He would pray for anybody who needed prayer. Michael was a true servant.
He is survived by his dearly loved fiancé, Debbie Dolberry and his beautiful daughter, Silena.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brother, James Alfred Correll.
Michael will be remembered as devoted friends, for his warm and generous heart, his willingness to pour into other people and mostly in the end for his love for Jesus. His kindness made everyone feel welcome.
A private service will be conducted in the future.
