Michael Cost Obituary
Michael Hunter Cost, age 17 of Petersburg, WV, passed away Friday evening, January 13, 2023 near Moorefield as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born on December 19, 2005 in Petersburg, WV, he was a son of Kristie M. Kesner Cost of Petersburg, WV and Charles Michael Cost of Capon Bridge, WV. Michael was a member of the Moorefield High School Class of 2024. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Danny Cost.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Ashton M. Cost of Petersburg, WV; three sisters, Brittany M. Cost, Brookelyn M. Cost & Bella M. Cost all of Petersburg, WV; maternal grandfather, Austin "Jack" Kesner, of Dorcas, WV; maternal grandmother, Barbara Mauzy Lantz and husband, Jack Lantz of Parsons, WV; paternal grandmother, Vandy Cost of South Fork, WV; two special brothers, A.J. Hose, and Christopher Ayers, both of South Fork, WV; two special sisters, Erica Fullen and Selena Fullen both of Moorfield, WV; four special nieces and nephews, Xander Ketterman, Matthew Fullen, Ellie Taylor, and Raelynn Fullen all of Moorefield, WV.
A Funeral Service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Believers Victory Center, 160 Victory Lane, with Pastor Wade Armentrout officiant. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of services. Interment will follow in the Kesner Family Cemetery in the Deep Springs area of Grant County.
