Michael Earl “Mike” Cotner, age 65, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau, MO.
He was born in Cape Girardeau, MO on June 1, 1960, to Earl and Glenice Stafford Cotner.
Mike was an avid golfer with a love for the game. His favorite course was Kimbeland Country Club. He was also an avid lover of all sports, but golf being his personal favorite.
For over 20 years he was in the food sales and distribution business in the Cape Girardeau area.
Survivors include his mother, Glenice Cotner of Cape Girardeau, MO; two sons: Trae & Alysen Cotner of Springfield, IL and Joe & Rebekah Cotner of Springfield, OH; two sisters: Sue & David Crader of Scott City, MO and JoDonna & Homer Markhart of Hillsboro, MO; four grandchildren: Leighton, Kolton, Lydia and Hannah Cotner
He was preceded in death by his father Earl Cotner..
There are no services scheduled at this time.
A memorial service will occur at a later date.
