Michael Cussimanio, 73, of Mesquite, Nevada, passed away peacefully at home on March 16, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on October 20, 1950, in Ogden, Utah, to Shirley and Albert Cussimanio. Mike married his wife, Niki Vendegnia, on March 21, 1970. He worked at Hill Air Force Base and retired after 35 years of service. Niki and Mike had two sons, Tony and Gino, and loved spending time together boating, hunting, and skiing.
Mike built a family cabin in Sunridge, Utah, where he enjoyed spending summers with his family. Niki and Mike enjoyed their retirement in Mesquite, Nevada, golfing, riding razors, and enjoying time with friends. Mike would help anyone without question. He was one of a kind and was loved by many. He will be so missed.
Mike is survived by his wife of 54 years, Niki, his sons Tony (Heather) and Gino (Jennifer), seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, his brother Robert (Julie), and sister Toni Ann Ortega (Chris). He is preceded in death by his parents.
