Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mr. Michael E Davis, 61, died on April 30, 2023, at ECU Health Medical Center, Greenville, NC.
He was born October 30,1961 in Lenoir County to Peggy Harper Davis and the late George F. Davis, Jr.
Michael leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Peggy Jean Davis of the home, two daughters, Jatika McKine of Riverdale, GA; Janiya Miller of Charlotte, NC and Verodica Wingo of Atlanta, GA; two sons, Jamal Davis of Riverdale, GA; and Bryan Uzzell of Richmond, VA; nine sisters, Deborah Stubbs, Sicklerville, NJ, Sheila Wooten of Kinston, NC, Gina Davis of Greensboro, NC, Sandra Dunn of Hookerton, NC, Evelyn Ward of Wilson, NC, Barbara Hudson and Phyliss Moore both of Raleigh, NC, Gloria Shepard of Greensboro, NC, and Cleastris Simmons of Kinston, NC; Five brothers, Edward Harper of Kinston, NC, George Davis III of Greensboro, NC, Victor Coward of Winston Salem, NC, Lucious Moore of Washington, DC; and Charles Hines of Charlotte, NC; and ten Grandchildren.
His life's devotion, service to God and mankind will be celebrated 2:00 PM Saturday, May 6, 2023, from the Sanctuary of The United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle 1011 JE Reddick CircleKinston
Burial will follow on 12:00 Noon Monday, May 8, 2023, in the Southview Cemetery.
Mr. Davis will lie in repose for public viewing one hour prior to the service.
The family will assemble at residence in preparation for the funeral cortege.
