Michael Charles Davis passed away March 3, 2025.
He was born September 8, 1958, in Cleburne, Texas, to Charles Davis and Wanda Laverne Collins. Michael graduated Alvarado High School and worked hard and obtained a degree to work on vehicles. February 14, 1979, at the Cleburne courthouse, he married his best friend and love of his life, Mary E. Hodges. Together they shared over 45 years of ups and downs, happiness and sadness, and sickness and health. Michael was such an outgoing spirit. He loved riding horses, cracking open a favorite book for a good read, showing off his dance moves, building things and doing construction, making furniture, working in the yard and gardening, watching his favorite sports teams, but above all, he cherished the times he was able to go and watch his grandson, Michael Davis Shuler, play soccer.
The family wants everyone, whether family or friend, Michael loved each and every one of you!
Those left to remember and cherish Michael's memory are his loving and dedicated wife, Mary E. Davis; son, Cody D. Davis and Krystle Yager; sisters, Debra Swala, Alta Mooreland and Lonnie; grandchild, Michael Davis Schuler; as well as many other family, Alicia Shuler and Troy, Shannon Flinn and family, Shoya Flinn and LeAnne and family, Craig Williams and family, Diana Garcia, Nick Garcia, Sondra Dickerman, Lesley Dickerman, Rodger Peppers, Kari Flecher, Kali Edwards, Christopher Garcia, Billy and Alicia Sears, and all their husbands, wives, and children; and so many more family and friends too numerous to name.
