Michael De Los Santos Bautista

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael De Los Santos Bautista, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who left us peacefully on August 21, 2025. Born in the Philippines, Michael's journey through life took him from his roots in his homeland to the shores of Southampton, New York, where he grew up and built a life filled with love and adventure.

Michael was united in marriage to Edna Salazar Bautista on May 30, 1992, and together they created a beautiful life, filled with cherished memories and shared experiences. Their bond was a testament to love, partnership, and the joy of exploring the world together. Michael was a proud father to his son, Christopher Bautista, who carries forward his father's legacy of kindness and strength.

A graduate of Southampton High School, Class of 1989, Michael was known for his hardworking nature and his unwavering dedication to those he loved. He was a man of many passions, with a particular fondness for his morning gym sessions, where he embraced the energy of each day. Michael found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was savoring a cup of coffee, enjoying a glass of his favorite Pinot Noir, or indulging in a fine whiskey, particularly Remy Martin or Hennessy.

Michael's vibrant personality lit up every room he entered. He was the life of the party, known for his goofy sense of humor and charismatic presence. His adventurous spirit led him to travel to new places, always eager to experience the beauty of the world alongside Edna. Michael was not only a loving and caring individual but also a selfless and generous soul who touched the lives of many with his compassion and genuine nature.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Edna Bautista; his cherished children, Christopher Bautista and Jess Gouws; and his loving siblings, Jayson Bautista and Riel Bautista. Michael's legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

As we remember Michael, let us celebrate the incredible man he was-an energetic spirit who embraced life unapologetically, a trustworthy friend, and a unique individual who made a lasting impact on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

In honor of Michael's life, a memorial service will be held on August 24th, 2025. All are welcome to join in celebrating the remarkable journey of a great man who brought joy and love to so many.
