Michael A. DellaTorre

The DellaTorre Family sadly announces the passing of Michael A. DellaTorre, III at the young age of 46.
Michael was the son of Michael A DellaTorre, Jr. and Virginia DellaTorre (Colonna). He was born and raised in Little Falls and resided in Mantoloking. He and his father were former members of North Jersey Country Club where they participated and won many tournaments including Father/Son tournaments and Michael won the Club championship. He dedicated that win to his father. He and his father had a close relationship and shared so many of the same interests. When his dad died, he lost his best friend and never truly recovered. His heart of gold was evident to everyone who crossed his path. Michael had a unique ability to bring joy to any room he entered, leaving everyone with smiles and laughter. He approached every goal with determination and dedication, he was a self-taught guitarist and channeled that passion into music. Michael enjoyed his time spent down the Jersey Shore where many memories with friends and family were made.
Predeceased by his dear father Michael, uncles Ferdinand Colonna, Mario Di Luccia, Joseph Vuolo, and his loving dogs, Lola and Roxy whom he was heartbroken when they crossed the rainbow bridge. Surviving is his devoted mother, Virginia DellaTorre; adoring sister Gina Solensky; cherished "Dah" to his nephew Johnny and niece Sofia; treasured aunts Gina Di Luccia, Carole DellaTorre, Mariann Mangiafridda and Patricia Vuolo; and many cousins and friends who will all miss him dearly.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 4-8 p.m. at Gaita Memorial Home, 154 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Little Falls, N.J. A Celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church, Little Falls. Kindly gather directly at the church.
