MICHAEL L. DELOACH
Michael L. DeLoach, 64, of Interlachen, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine following an extended illness.
Michael was born in Greenwood, South Carolina and had resided in Interlachen for the past 7 years. He was a former resident of Maggie Valley, North Carolina where he had lived for over 20 years andattended Victory Baptist Church.
He had worked as a fleet manager in the liquid petroleum and gas distribution industry, retiring from Suburban Gas in 2016 after 30 years of service. He also served in the Florida National Guard. He had enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing cars, and running heavy equipment.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda DeLoach; his father, Tommy DeLoach, his mother, Betty DeLoach; a brother and sister-n-law, Steve and Carla DeLoach; and a niece, Shannon Jones.
Surviving are his mother who raised him-whom he called "Ma"-Lois DeLoach of Interlachen; three sons and daughters-in-law, DeWayne and Nancy Brantley of Salt Springs, Michael and Lisa Brantley of Florahome, and Kenny and Heather DeLoach of Interlachen; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Danny Jones of Interlachen, and Kathy and Scooter Sims; 11 grandchildren and their spouses, Harrison Brantley, Zachary Brantley, Taylor and Blake Roundtree, Mikey Brantley (Natalie), Amber McKinney, Kaitlyn Brantley (Dustin), Hayden Mills, Hailey DeLoach, Kendall DeLoach, Cody Sapp (Ava), and Tyler Segars; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation is planned and friends are invited to call from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Masters Funeral Home with Dr. L. D. Osteen officiating. Burial will follow at Palatka Memorial Gardens.
