Michael Ray Dickerson Sr., age 69, passed away on December 30, 2025, in Portland, Tennessee. He was born on March 1, 1956, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Cordell and Dovie Dickerson.
Michael was married to the love of his life, Kathy Dickerson, for 52 years. Their marriage was a true testament to love, commitment, and partnership. Together they built a strong family rooted in care, loyalty, and devotion.
He was a devoted father to four children: Melody, Michael (Tiffany) , Christopher, and Jeremiah. He was a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to 17 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy.
Michael’s love extended far beyond his immediate family. He deeply loved his extended family and treasured his many friends, treating everyone with kindness, respect, and genuine care.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Dickerson; his four children; his brother, Ronnie Dickerson (Ann); and his three sisters, Pam Freels, Sandra Teasley, and Brenda Brown (Ray); along with numerous extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Michael will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family. His memory will live on through the generations he helped shape and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
