Mick was born to the late Christ and Mary (Chesko) Dimeff on September 14, 1939, in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from Kenmore High School. After serving his country in the United States Army he went on to work for the Akron Beacon Journal, where he later retired in 2001. Mick was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team and the Cleveland Guardians. In his spare time Mick enjoyed playing a round of Golf, watching his grandchildren's sports games and hanging out with friends at the Hibernians Club.
In addition to his parents Mick is preceded in death b y his brother; Robert Dimeff. Mick is survived by his sons Chris (Rebecca) Dimeff, and Ryan (Wanda) Dimeff; grandchildren Ashley, Darren, Drew, Bailey, Alexis, Scarlet, Callen and Mason; 5 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where a funeral service will immediately follow.
