Michael is survived by his son, Sean Docherty and wife Kiley of Benton, IL; grandchildren, Shannon Zink and husband Clayton and Brennan Docherty; great grandchildren, Madelyn Zink and Cecelia Zink.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Michael worked for 40 years as a Chemical Engineer at Continental Tire.

I met Michael through SSM HOSPICE pet therapy. We had some good conversations as I knew how he felt as my wife passed three years ago Godspeed Michael.
