Michael H. Donovan, age 75, of Baltic, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, in Sioux Falls. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Baltic.
Michael was born on May 15, 1950, in Sioux Falls, to Thomas and Leona (Hartmann) Donovan. He grew up near Baltic on the Donovan farm. He attended school in Baltic and Dell Rapids. After his schooling, he moved to Sioux Falls and worked for the City of Sioux Falls. He then moved to Baltic and worked for the City of Baltic in the maintenance department. In his younger years he liked to play pool at Baltic Corner.
Survivors include his siblings: Diane Larson, Sioux Falls, Georgia Donovan, Sioux Falls, Donald Donovan, Brookings, and David Donovan, Sioux Falls; sister-in-law, Dianne Donovan, Baltic; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Thomas LeRoy Donovan, Ronald Donovan, Daniel Donovan Sr., Rose Crowell, and Betty Donovan; and a brother-in-law, Thomas Larson.
