Michael P. Doyle

Michael Patrick Doyle, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the age of 81. Michael was the beloved husband of 54 years of Barbara Jean (nee Pedley) and cherished father of Timothy (Jennifer), of Brookfield, WI; Kevin (Elizabeth) of Westminster, CO; Karolyn Zeiler (Brian) of Dousman, WI; and Daniel of Milwaukee, WI. He was the proud grandfather of Margaret Doyle, Keegan Doyle, Finley Doyle, Peyton Doyle, Regan Doyle, Beckham Zeiler, and Daxton Zeiler. He will always be remembered by his brothers Patrick (Lynn) of North Lake, WI, and Robert of Chicago, IL, and by his nephew David Doyle of Madison WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Patrick and Kathleen Marie (nee Gill) Doyle.
Michael was born in 1941 in Milwaukee, WI where he attended Mother of Good Counsel Grade School (1955) and Pius XI High School (1959). After graduating from Regis College in Denver, CO in 1963, he joined the National Cash Register Company in Milwaukee. In 1972, he moved to B.C. Ziegler and Company where he worked for twenty-eight years, leaving as the Senior Vice President. During those years, he was president of the Milwaukee Bond Club, and member of the Security Traders Association of Wisconsin and the National Management Association.
Michael and Barbara met on a blind date. What a lucky guy he was! Together, their children and family were the center of their lives in the Waukesha/Brookfield area. They enjoyed many ski trips and traveling together as a family.
Beloved for his outgoing personality, Michael made friends easily and maintained those relationships throughout his life. And, he certainly enjoyed his sports, whether it be the Packers, the Golden Eagles, the Badgers, or any golf tournament. There was always a game on in their home or an actual game being played with family and friends or a game to attend that the grandchildren were playing. He joined his friends to hunt deer each year and managed to never shoot a deer, but many a can of Pepsi lost their lives as practice targets.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha, WI, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of reflection at 11:15 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Reception following. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mike's name to St. Mary's Catholic Church of Waukesha "Love One Another Campaign" or the American Heart Association.
