Rusty Wheatcraft, a devoted father, hardworking provider, and beloved friend, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from a brain stem stroke, known as a "widow maker," at the age of 58. His loss leaves a deep hole in the hearts of all who knew him.
Rusty was the proud father of ten children, ranging in age from 38 to just 6 years old. Family was always at the center of his life. He worked tirelessly his entire life in fencing, where he built a reputation not only for his strong work ethic, but also for his willingness to go above and beyond to help anyone in need. He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back without hesitation.
Outside of work, Rusty was a true hotrod enthusiast. He loved cars, especially attending car shows and spending time around the hotrod community. His passion for classic cars reflected his personality - steady, strong, and full of life.
More than anything, Rusty will be remembered as a good dad and a man who put others before himself. He leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and strength that will live on through his family and friends.
Rusty is survived by his wife, Jenny Wheatcraft; his children, Malt (Ashley), Nick, Brooklyn, Leigh and Olivia Wheatcraft, Amber, Alexa, Jon, Logan and Jace Wheatcraft; and his grandchildren, Maximus Sitsler, Surich Thurman, Jeremiah Fink, and Ethan and Evan Wheatcraft. He is also survived by his parents, Tim and Barb Sweeney, and his brother and sister-in-law, Josh and Tanya Summers.
Rusty's family and loved ones take comfort in knowing he lived a life filled with devotion, hard work, and generosity. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
