Michael L. Endris

Michael L. Endris, 80, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Thursday June 22, 2023. He was born in New Albany to the late Louis "Louie" and Mary Elizabeth "Sis" Endris. He served in the Army National Guard and attended Northside Christian Church. Mike was the Foreman of the Press Room at the Courier Journal for thirty years and also started Endris Builders where he was a proud developer and homebuilder in Southern Indiana. He was a member of the Southern Indiana Realtors Association, the Southern Indiana Homebuilders Association and he was a founding member of the Grant Line Girls Softball League. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter: Christina Ebling.
Michael is survived by his wife of 41 years: Lois Naville Endris, his sons: Michael Endris(Sandra) and Andrew Endris(Cassie), his daughters: Amy Ebling(Todd) and Ashley Endris, his sisters: Linda Endris, Virginia Ballew(Jess), Jeanne Collins(Gary), and Mary Ann Endris, his grandchildren: Christopher, Elizabeth(Matt), A.J., Emily, Ashton(Hunter), Gracie(Caleb), Bradley, Shelby, Josie and Evie, and his great-granddaughter: Elana.
A Celebration of Michael's life will be held at 11 AM Monday June 26, 2023 in the West Auditorium at Northside Christian Church((4407 Charlestown Road) with burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Albany. Visitation will be from 12 Noon – 7 PM Sunday at the Market Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes(1119 E. Market St.) and from 9 – 11 AM Monday at the church before the service.
