Ruby Jane Haws

Ruby "Jane" Haws, 89, of New Albany, IN., passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026. She was born on January 7, 1937, in Elizabeth, IN., to Ralph and Irma Duggins.
Jane was a member of the square-dancing group, Rebel Club, the Riverside Cloggers, and Main Street UMC. Jane will be remembered as a loving wife, proud mother, and adoring grandmother.
Preceding Jane in death are her husband of 70 years, Dale Haws; her parents, Ralph Duggins and Irma Ware (Toops); and her sister, Helen Collins. Family members left to cherish memories of Jane and celebrate her life are her son, Rick Haws; grandchildren, Ben Haws (Ashley) and Hayley Garmon (Luke); and great-grandchildren, Brexton Haws and Vivienne Garmon.
Visitation will be held at Naville & Seabrook Funeral Home, 1119 E. Market Street, New Albany, IN. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm, with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 pm. Burial is to be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
