Michael D. Enslow, 71 of Jefferson, WI, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Alden Estates of Jefferson.
Michael was born on September 23, 1953, in Vallejo, CA, the son of Stanley and Patricia (Gleason) Enslow. He graduated from Milwaukee's Hamilton High School in 1971. In July of 1972, while at the Crazy Horse Disco, Mike met Mary Ann Lenz and the couple was married on September 22, 1973, in Milwaukee. They had 3 children, and the family took many camping trips and spent every Father's Day weekend at a cabin on the Moen Chain in Rhinelander. Most of Mike's working years were spent as a design engineer in the hydraulics industry, a job profession he enjoyed. Later in his life, Mike became passionate about shooting sports and joined the Daniel Boone Conservation League in Huburtus, WI. While there, he often served as range marshal and managed the responsibility with safety as his top priority. Mike was a fierce protector of his family and a loyal leader. As adults, his children now appreciate his concern and dedication to their wellbeing. He will be remembered for his bold, but loving personality and will be missed by those who knew him.
Mike is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Enslow of Jefferson; children Craig (Leahnoel Lindenberg) Enslow of West Allis, Lisa (Matthew Schliewe) Anderson of Watertown, and Tracy (Kweku) Biney-Assan of Brookfield; 6 grandchildren Ashley, Michael, Sean, Kaitlynn, Jazmine, and Devin; 6 sisters Donna Murphy, Mary (Rodney) Hope, Anne (Ron) Bell, Terry (Craig) Epstein, Patricia (Scott) Granlund, and Barbara (Alan) Kingsreiter. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother John "Jack" Enslow.
A time of remembrance will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Olsen-Gibson Funeral Home in Jefferson. A visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
