It is with such heartache that we share that our beautiful son, Mac, passed away in a tragic car accident on July 24, 2024, returning from a day in Santa Cruz with his friends. We are told that he had a great day. And we know it is true. Because he loved nothing better than being with his friends.
Mac was thriving. He was working hard – two jobs. He was earning fantastic grades. He had an amazing friend group that truly loved and supported each other. He was in love with his beautiful girlfriend, Sydney. He was maturing, becoming a man. He was excited for senior year, excited for college. Ready to fly.
He is sorely missed, mourned, by his friends and family. We love him. His life was a gift to us – his heart, his humor, his enthusiasm, his athleticism, his artistic talent, his hair.
Mac loved playing sports – and won championships in little league baseball, club soccer, and middle school basketball. Mac’s zest for life was unstoppable, always with a huge, mischievous smile. He had a quiet charisma that drew people to him, and a genuineness and kindness that made them want to stay by his side. He was beautiful inside and out.
Mac is survived by his parents, Tom Enslow and Suzanne Enslow, his sister Adair Enslow, his grandmothers, aunts and uncles, cousins, and his many, many friends.
We are devastated and heartbroken by his loss.
We want to celebrate the 17 years we were blessed to share this world with him. Please join us on August 18, 3:00 p.m. at Jesuit High School.
Mac volunteered at Habitat for Humanity and Special Olympics. For those wishing to make a donation in his memory, we ask that they go to one of those two organizations.
