Michael “Mike” Jay Eudy, 53, previously of Stanfield, NC, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025. Mike moved to Monroe in August 2022. He was born December 15, 1971, in Mecklenburg County, NC, and was the son of Sandra Elliott of Kannapolis, NC and Jay B. Eudy of Stanfield, NC.
After graduating from West Stanly High School, Mike proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Following his military service, he served his community at the Marshville Police Department beginning in 1993. He left Marshville as a Sergeant in 2003 when he was promoted to Lieutenant and became the second law officer hired for the newly formed Stallings Police Department under the direction of Chief Larke Plyler. During his twenty-three-year law enforcement career, Mike covered the ranks from patrol to Captain and even served a short time as Interim Chief before retiring in 2016.
In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by his wife and best friend, Brooke Rae Eudy of Monroe and his beloved son, Brandon M. Eudy, 22, of Unionville.
A funeral service will be held Friday, September 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC, 28112, followed by interment in Kinza Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, 4311 Love Mill Road, Stanfield, NC 28163. The family will visit with friends and relatives Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gordon Funeral Service.
