Michael Evans Obituary
A Celebration of Life service for Michael Earl Evans, age 70, of Big Rock, TN, will be Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday, July 21, 2023 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM and again Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
Michael was born on March 20, 1953, to Earl and Marie Evans who preceded him in death. He passed away on July 18, 2023. Michael retired from Clarksville Academy and loved history, especially studying the Civil War and WWII.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Aleta Evans; children: Kelsey (Caleb Gardner) Clegg and Kateland Clegg; grandchildren: Ben, Henry, and Adelaide; brother, Steve (Diane) Evans; nephew, Caleb; and niece, Sarah.

Such sad news! I wished I had seen his obituary before now! Mike was a wonderful person and was always so kind! I enjoyed talking to him over the years whenever I was at Clarksville Academy! He will be greatly missed! Prayers for his family and friends during this difficult time of loss!

Mike was such a wonderful guy, he helped me out on several occasions and was a pleasure to be around. I am sorry to have missed his celebration of life. My heart goes out to all who will miss him, there really are no words.
