Geneva R. Evans

Muncie – Geneva R. Evans, 86, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026 at The Woodlands.

She was born in Albany, Kentucky on May 22, 1939, the daughter of Kelly and Myrtle (Beaty) Flowers and later graduated from Clinton County High School.

She was a dedicated homemaker, raising her four boys. Geneva always loved visiting with her children and grandchildren.

She enjoyed painting and ceramics throughout her life. For the last three years, while residing in Ivy Court at The Woodlands, she enjoyed bingo, eating popsicles and having her nails painted.

Survivors include her children, Brooks Evans (wife, Debbie), Greg Evans (wife, Kristin) and Gale Evans; her grandchildren, Landon Evans (Amy), Ashley Rayle (Seth), Lindsey Robertson (Jeff), Kyle Evans (Brittany), Eli Evans, Sarah Evans and Mason Evans; her great-grandchildren, Josie, Jackson, Lincoln, Gracen, Franklin, Waylon, Griffin, Zoey and Austin; her two sisters, Katherine McNeese and Judy Parrigin; two brothers, Kelly Lee Flowers and Kenneth Flowers; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Landon Evans on May 10, 1983; her son, Darrell Evans; sisters, Carolyn Beaty, Juanita Stewart and Mary Crockett; a brother, James Billy ("JB") Flowers; along with her parents.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Burial will follow in Tomlinson Cemetery.
