Easter Ent Obituary
She was born on May 24, 1937, in McCreary County, Kentucky, to Mattie Tucker Nevels and John William Nevels. Easter was the youngest of nine children and grew up surrounded by a large and loving family.
On April 24, 1988, she married John W. Ent Jr., and together they shared many years of companionship and family.
Easter was a loving mother, stepmother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her son, Ricky Hudson; her stepchildren, Yvonne Carmack, John Ent, and Lori Thomas. She also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her son, Leroy Hudson in 1990.
Easter was a proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in Yorktown and the Ladies Auxiliary of AMVETS in Hartford City. She enjoyed being involved in her community and valued the friendships she made through these organizations.
Easter will be remembered for her humor, kindness, strength and devotion to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Cremation will take place and a private burial will take place in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie on Monday, March 23, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
