Michael J. Everett, 77 died peacefully on Sunday, September 7th, 2025 after a brief illness. Michael "Mike" was born on July 4, 1948 in Brookline, MA to the late Frank Everett and Ruth (Corbin) Everett.

In, 1966, Michael graduated from Beverly High School in Beverly, MA where he ran track for BHS. He also played several sports including hockey, baseball, basketball and football during his younger years. He later went on to play basketball at North Shore Community College, Merrimack College and finally UMass Amherst where he also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education.

Michael honorably served the United States Army and was a proud Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was part of the 4th Battalion, 39th Artillery and was also affiliated with the 82nd Airborne of which he was very proud. Michael received several distinguished medals during his combat. He went on to work as a teacher in Physical Education and transitioned later to the Life Insurance Industry.

Michael became "Papi" upon the birth of his first grandchild, Ryan in 2008. He was later blessed with two granddaughters, Kayla and Grace. He took immense pride in being a grandfather. As an avid sports fan, "Papi" was a regular fixture at his grandchildren's sporting events and you could always hear him cheering from the stands and mingling with the crowd. His greatest legacy will always be the deep love he had for his children and grandchildren.
