Michael Falvey

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Michael Douglas Falvey, affectionately known as "Mike" to his family and "Falvey" to his friends on February 13, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, PA on January 23, 1987, Michael was a compassionate soul, always ready with a helping hand and a comforting word. He had a way of making the world a better place, one kind act at a time. An empathetic listener, Michael was the person others turned to in times of need. His loyalty and generosity knew no bounds, and these qualities defined his life.
A proud Philadelphia native, Michael was a truck driver by profession, a role that brought him immense satisfaction. He was as passionate about his work, as he was about his beloved Philadelphia Eagles. He was a loyal fan who never missed a game, his devotion mirrored in the way he lived his life - with steadfast commitment and unwavering love. His hobbies were a reflection of his vibrant personality. Michael could strum the bass guitar with a flair that was uniquely his and was an avid gamer, finding joy in the thrill of PlayStation video games. A Star Wars fan, he loved the escapism of Lord of the Rings and Batman, dreaming of one day owning a Ford Mustang.
Michael is survived by his mother Victoria Falvey, his father Walter Falvey, his sister Victoria Falvey (Frank Marchunt), Uncle Jeffrey Pace (Ashley), nephew Frank Marchunt, Jr., cousins Alicia, Dominic, Damien, Brandon their families, step-aunts, Carolyn, Dawn, Wendy, many other relatives and many dear friends. His love for his family was immense. Michael dedicated his life to helping and protecting others, ensuring his family felt loved and cherished. His dedication extended to his dear friends, whom he regarded as family. Please join us to remember and celebrate Michael's life at Lambie Funeral Home, 8000 Rowland Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Visitation will start at 9:00 am and go to 10:45 am, His memorial service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
