Michael Joseph Fennimore
The Lord called Mike Fennimore, age 69, too soon. He died unexpectantly at his home on August 7, 2024 in Aloha. He was the eldest of 4 children born to Edgar and Jean (Dowe) Fennimore of Silverton, OR.
After graduating from Silverton High School in 1973, he attended Mt. Hood Community College for Respiratory Therapy. Desiring a career change he later attended Spokane Community College for Cardio-Pulmonary Technology. He would work in the Cardiac Cath lab at St. Vincent's Hospital in Portland for the next 39 years. He married Judy on May 26, 1984, and they raised 3 children. They recently celebrated 40 years of marriage and enjoyed a river cruise in Europe along the Rhine river.
Mike was a sports enthusiast and ever faithful to the Seahawks. He was quick witted and enjoyed telling a joke and sharing his trivial knowledge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, playing cards; in his younger days snow skiing, backpacking and Mt. climbing.
Mike is survived by his wife Judy; his children Natalie (Dave) Ehrman, Mitchell and Mariah all of Portland, OR and twin grandchildren Evelyn and Griffin Ehrman; his brothers Pat of Silverton and Ted of Salem and a sister Melodee (Dan) Corgan of Salem, OR; many nieces/nephews and relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Juanita Fennimore.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Aloha at 11 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2024.
