Michael Genaro Ferrara

Michael Genaro Ferrara, born on January 3, 1962 in Euclid, OH, passed away unexpectedly on February 21, 2026.

Michael was the loving son of Ralph Ferrara and the late Carol Ferrara (nee Wright); cherished brother of Shelley Liposky (Joel, deceased), James, and the late Lesley Pawar (Roger); caring uncle of, Ashley (Kevin), Andrew, Amanda, Cesily (Bryce), Austin, Scarlett and Lily; and a great uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many more.

Michael dedicated 37 years to his passion as a party coordinator, ultimately rising to the role of Vice President at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven. His creative flair for designing unforgettable events earned him admiration throughout the Cleveland area. He was proud of his many party creations, and most of all proud to plan the annual Landerhaven Family Reunion. To Michael, the Landerhaven family was more than just colleagues; he often referred to them as his second family, and this bond brought joy and fulfillment to his life.

Outside of his professional life, Michael was devoted to his home and took great pleasure in gardening. His love for politics and history enriched his conversations. He was always eager to engage with anyone and share in his knowledge of Cleveland's past. In addition, Michael was a die-hard Cleveland baseball fan, and you could often find him cheering them on during any game. Lastly, Michael always found comfort and companionship with his beloved cat, Snickers.

Family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations 35400 Curtis Blvd. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 2, 2026 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church 5384 Wilson Mills Rd, Highland Heights, OH 44143. Urn burial will occur at All Souls Cemetery.
