Michael Joseph Ferrari

Belvidere, Vermont - Michael Joseph Ferrari passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 72. He was born in Barre, the son of the late Enzo Ferrari and Bessie (Varney) Corliss.
Michael lived his life to the fullest extent he could, following the mantra "it is the journey, not the destination." Michael enjoyed gardening, fly fishing, watching the birds and other wildlife in his backyard, and visiting with his neighbors. For several years, Michael enjoyed traveling around the country in his camper wagon and met many friends along the road. Michael's passing reminds us all to slow down and make time to enjoy our loved ones as well as the pursuits that bring us joy.
Michael is survived by his two daughters, Koren Coughlin of Oakland, Maine and her husband David, and Carri Ferrari of Johnson and her life partner John Carton; grandchildren, Pierce, Ryleigh, Paxton, Kayla, Gaia, Brayden, Trace, Jay, and Aliana; and many extended members of family in Vermont and Florida.
Michael is predeceased by his parents, Enzo Ferrari and Bessie (Varney) Corliss.
Koren and Carri extend their deepest gratitude to the emergency personnel who responded to Michael's residence and took care of him.
