Loren Groff Obituary

Loren Charles Groff, 84, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Born on March 13, 1941, in Lake City, Michigan, Loren was the son of the late John and Mary (Hines) Groff.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol (Gardner) Groff; his wife, Bertha (Dubuque) Groff, who passed on February 1, 2024; and his son, John Groff.
Loren is survived by his children: Susan Benoit (Edward), Beverly Noble (Bruce), Regina Smith, Trudy Hallett, Loren A. Groff (Vicky), Reginald Kirby, and Michael Kirby; his siblings, David Elphinstone of Arizona and Mary Rees of Michigan; as well as many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and his faithful grand dog, Bella.
In keeping with Loren's wishes, there will be no public viewing. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to NCAL, 16 Mountain View Rd., Morristown, VT 05661.
