Michael J. Fleming, Sr.

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Michael J. Fleming, Sr., 75, of Worcester, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in Worcester, surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Worcester on September 7, 1949, Michael was born to James T. and Lorraine (Arelle) Fleming. Michael was a graduate of Worcester Boys Trade in 1969 and worked as a painter for many years.

Michael loved spending time with his family, especially taking day trips with them to Castle Island in Boston. He also enjoyed watching baseball and softball games at Logan Field in Worcester.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Rose Ann M. (Drake) Fleming of Worcester; his loving son, Michael J. Fleming, Jr. of Worcester; his adored grandchildren, Courtney (Fleming) Arthur and Joshua Fleming; his dear great-granddaughter, Annalyn Arthur; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by his sister Elizabeth (Betty) Miller, and brother James T. Fleming, Jr.

There are no words that can capture how much Michael will be missed. His loving spirit and sense of humor are forever ingrained into the hearts of everyone who knew him.
