Michael Flores Obituary
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at St. Patrick Cathedral. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024 in Mount Olivet Chapel.
Michael was born on November 8, 1965, in Fort Worth, Texas, to parents, Frank and Juanita Flores. His childhood neighborhood, Rock Island, always held a special place in his heart. Michael was also a member of St. Patrick Cathedral Fort Worth for 27 years.
Michael was a prominent iron worker for 39 years, with Local Union 263. He proudly contributed to the structural build of many local iconic landmarks. He loved all sports, especially his two teams: The Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Panchyo Flores; grandparents, John and Leonora Serrano, Merced Flores and Dora Robledo; and grandmother, Ventura Campos; and his brother-in-law, Joe Buttero.
Survivors: Wife, JoGlenda Flores; children, Michael Flores Jr., Olivia Chazarreta, and Edward Trevino; mother, Juanita Serrano Flores; sisters, Barbara Trevino, Linda Buttero, Debra Flores, Rosanna Flores and husband, Eddie Vedia and Ashley Flores; brother, Albert Flores and wife, Johanna; grandchildren, Esmeralda Barron, Edward Trevino Jr., Eric Trevino and Ethan Varela; special nephew, Elias Flores; along with numerous, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
