Michael Mulliner Frame (Mick) was born in Murray, Utah, on December 27, 1938. He was the son of Virgie and Vernee Frame.
Mike grew up in Cedar City with three siblings: Bob, Jerry, and Patricia. He enjoyed social and church activities as well as athletic events. He learned the value of hard work through various jobs during junior high and high school.
Mike graduated from Cedar High School and attended the College of Southern Utah and Georgetown University before serving in the British Mission in 1960. He later attended Brigham Young University, where he met and married Vicki Lee Luekenga on Saturday, September 14, 1963, in the St. George Temple. After graduating, they pursued Physical Therapy School in Glendale, California. Mike’s career as a physical therapist took them to Boise, Provo, and Price.
Mike and Vicki are the parents of nine children: Michael (late Lisa) Frame, Bountiful, Utah; Christopher (Renee), Syracuse, Utah; Daniel (Cherie), West Haven, Utah; Joshua (Charlotte), St. George, Utah; Benjamin (Jamie), Spanish Fork, Utah; Timothy (Tina), Price, Utah; Rebekah, Eagle Mountain, Utah; Deborah (Jonathan), Le Roy, Illinois; and Jessica (Tim), South Jordan, Utah.
Vicki endured cancer and passed away on November 23, 1983, at the age of 43.
In the summer of 1984, Mike met and began dating Donna Marie Burt, whose husband, Fred, had passed away on November 23, 1981. Fred and Donna are the parents of Doug (Beckie), Saratoga Springs, Utah, and Debbie Marie, American Fork, Utah.
On Saturday, August 18, 1984, Mike and Donna were married in the Boise Idaho Temple, blending the Frame and Burt families. They made their home in Price, Utah, where they raised their children, attended concerts, plays, recitals, farewells, homecomings, church, and athletic events. Together, they taught their family to work, love, forgive, laugh, and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Later in their marriage, Mike and Donna retired to American Fork, Utah. They served as missionaries in the Phnom Penh, Cambodia Mission (2002–2004) and the Hartford, Connecticut Mission (2005–2007). They also served for many years in the Timpanogos Temple. Mike and Donna are the grandparents of 36 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
