Michael Christopher Friese, 78, of Lizella, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 9, 2025, surrounded by his family. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be 2:00 PM March 8, 2025, at Fellowship Community Church 7401 McCall Rd W, Lizella, GA 31052. Pastor Quinn Hammock will be officiating all services.
Michael was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on December 27, 1946, to the late Mr. George Friese and Mrs. Patricia Gilbert Friese. Michael was a deeply patriotic man proudly serving in the United States Marine Corps. He had a passion for life, enjoying simple things, he loved riding motorcycles with his friends, listening to his favorite music, and playing guitar; most importantly he loved his family. His family meant the world to him, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren, he could spend hours playing with them. His lighthearted spirit and dedication to his family and friends will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his great grandchild Adriana Brooks
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Lois Friese, son, Michael Friese Jr; daughter Lisa (Eddie) Santiago; sisters, Annette (Bruce) MacDiarmid, Andrea Friese; brothers, Jonathan (Patty) Friese, Terence (Andrew) Friese; grandchildren, Joshua Santiago, Justin Santiago, Aryanna Friese, Christian Friese; great grandchildren, Lyla Hoffman, Kayden Santiago, Mason Santiago, Alliyah Dancy, Alaina Santiago, Alexis Santiago, Maddox Santiago, Ariyah Santiago, Abbigail Howard, Ansley Howard, Carson Davis, Annastasia Howard, and Kinsley Santiago.
