Michael F. "Mike" Furlong, age 71, of West Chester, PA, passed away on July 4, 2025.
Born in Embreeville, PA in 1954, he was the son of the late Francis and Bette Jane (nee Dapp) Furlong. Mike was the owner of Mike Furlong Hauling Company. He enjoyed working on his antique car. Mike was a member of the VFW Post 106 in West Chester, PA.
Mike was the beloved husband of the late Shirley Morgan; loving brother of Mitchell Furlong (the late Kathryn), Melissa Ricci (Alfred), and the late Melanie Crepeau; caring step-father of Sherry Hughes (Jack), James Morgan (Tammy), and the late Robert Morgan, Jr.; dear uncle of Jennifer Keefe (Brian) and Jon Furlong (Natalie Blanchard); adoring step-grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 5:30-7:30 PM Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to VFW Post 106, 837 Lincoln Avenue, West Chester, PA 19380, would be appreciated.
