Peter J. Belfi, 84, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away June 23, 2025.
Born May 17, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Peter J. and Frances (nee Gutilla) Belfi.
Peter was a graduate of St Laurence School, Monsignor Bonner High School, and Villanova University.
He was an avid sports fan, especially of all the Philadelphia teams and Wildcats. He enjoyed running, skiing, and trips to Atlantic City. He adored spending time with his nieces and nephews in Avalon, NJ. His generosity and kindness will be his greatest legacy. He will be dearly missed.
Peter was the beloved partner of 49 years of Patricia Foy. He will be missed by Patti’s siblings: Barbara Foy, Michelle Foy, Mary Louise Foy, Janet Plummer (Andrew), Maureen Foy, Nancy Foy, and Sharon Sweeney (John Florio); nieces and nephews: Thomas, Ellen, Sarah (John), Emily (Will), Matthew (Lindsey), Charlotte (Patrick), Siobhan, and Miranda; great-niece, Violet; and many cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by Patti’s sister, Joanne Beebe.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Monday, July 7, 2025 at Saints Simon and Jude, 8 Cavanaugh Ct., West Chester, PA 19382, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Interment is private.
