Michael Steven Galster, Sr., a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away on October 6, 2025, in Glen Burnie, Maryland. He was 71 years old. Born on February 11, 1954, in Baltimore, Maryland, Michael carried the warmth of the city in his heart throughout his life.
Michael was a devoted family man, leaving behind his beloved son, Michael S. Galster Jr., along with his daughter-in-law, Colleen. Together, they brought light into his life with their children: Zack, Ashley, Amanda, Heather, Lindsey, Brayden, and Autumn. These grandchildren were the apple of his eye, each a unique thread in the beautiful tapestry of his life. He delighted in cheering them on in their many endeavors, just as he fervently cheered for his favorite sports teams, the Ravens and the Orioles.
He is also survived by his loving sister, Karen Collison, and her husband, Bill; his brothers, Richard Galster and his wife, Rosemarie, and Kenny Galster and his wife, Linda; as well as a proud uncle to his cherished niece and nephews, Ryan, Rick, Rob, Billy, Melanie, and Kenny. He is also survived by Jason and Kristina. Michael's family filled his life with laughter, love, and endless memories, a testament to the bond that held them together through thick and thin. Michael was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Frances and Richard Galster, who would have been so proud of the loving family that he had built.
