Michael Bruce Geiger, a beloved member of his family and community, passed away at his home in Homeworth, Ohio on September 30, 2025. He was born on April 7, 1956, in Canton, Ohio, and his journey through life was marked by dedication, hard work, and love for those around him.

Mike graduated from West Branch High School in 1975, after which he embarked on a long and fulfilling career at Tru Cut Inc., where he dedicated over 30 years of his life working as a Tool and Die, Special Machine Design and retiring as the Head of Safety and Maintenance. Following his retirement, he continued to serve the community through his role as the maintenance and repairman at Alliance Friends Church, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to service and his knack for fixing things.

During his lifetime, Mike had a wealth of interests that showcased his vibrant spirit. He shared his passion for music by playing drums not only with the John Hampu Band but also with various local bands. His musical talents extended to participating in the Worship Band at Alliance Friends Church, where his gift for rhythm touched the hearts of many. An avid Harley Davidson rider, Mike relished the freedom of the open road and was known to delight in the outdoors, tackling any project that came his way. His friends and family knew him as the go-to person for fixing or finding anything, a true testament to his ability and willingness to help.

Mike cherished his family deeply. He married his high school sweetheart, Artie (Chain), on September 16, 1978, and they celebrated 47 wonderful years together. He is survived by three beloved children: BJ (Melissa) Geiger, Tom (Brianna) Geiger, and Keri (Ryan) Hogan. The joy of his life also included his four grandchildren, Nash Geiger, Blake Hogan, Codie Hogan, and Charlie Geiger, who were certainly a source of immense pride and happiness for him. His legacy of love continues through them. He is also survived by his brother, Bob (Luanne) Geiger, who will carry on his memory alongside their family. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Bruce and Ona (Catlett) Geiger and his nephew, JD Rohrer.

A gathering of friends and family will take place on, Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Alliance Friends Church, located at 1307 W State Street, Alliance, Ohio.
