Barbara (Rozich) Been, passed away surrounded by her friends and family on Monday, August 18, 2025. Barb was born October 21, 1948 to the late Paul and Louise Rozich in Alliance, Ohio. She is a graduate of Alliance High School. Barb lived in Newton Falls for many years and was the beloved Post Master at the Wayland Post Office.
Barb married her husband Steve Been on June 23, 1980. She helped him raise his two nieces. She loved to cook and loved spending time with her cats.
Survivors include; her two nephews, Trent (Michelle) Rozich, Dirk (Nicole) Rozich and their children; Tristan, Spenser, Landon and Hartley. She is also survived by her 4 sister's in law Cindy Rozich, Jackie Dorsey, Patty Walters and Virginia Rutherford as well as her niece Colleen (Robert) Goebel their daughter Kaitlyn, son Zachery, and niece Yvonne Rutherford as well as many friends who loved her dearly. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Rozich, her husband Steve and her friend, Duane Hutton.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Sebring Chapel, www.grfuneralhome.com, (330) 938-2526.
