Michael Giachetti, son of Margaret Laterza and Michael Angelo Giachetti, went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 1, 2023. He was preceded in death by his three sisters, Rosemary, Carol and Linda; followed by his sister in law Lucy; his niece Tonianne; and his nephew Phillip. Michael is survived by his wife Berthe Giachetti; his brothers Rob and Joey; his sister Leza; his children Melanie, Michael, and Melissa; grandchildren Ashley, Genesis, Yamniel, Yael, Cash, and Naomi; and great-grandchildren, Dylan, Grace, and Blake.
Michael was born and raised in the Bronx, and eventually relocated to Greenville, SC with his wife Berthe. Michael was as strong, loving, and caring as one could be. He never met a stranger, made friends easily, and would do anything for his friends and family.
He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, and he particularly enjoyed cruises. He was a master plumber who took great pride in his work, and he was always available to lend a hand to a friend in need. Michael loved sports, and was an avid Eagles fan. He will surely be rooting for his beloved Eagles in next week's Super Bowl from heaven.
