Michael Leal Golden, age 74, passed away on September 28, 2025. Michael was born in Lake Kissimmee, Florida to the late Ralph Golden and Arie Banks. Michael married Roxanna Golden of Thomasville, Georgia on June 26, 1987.
Mr. Golden retired from Flower's Thomasville Bakery in 2018 after working there for many years. He was an avid rose gardener and won awards at the annual Rose Show Festivals in Thomasville.
Mr. Golden proudly served his country in the United States Army, he was honorably discharged in 1974.
In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his sister, Lanelle A. Golden, of Seattle, Washington and several cousins in Cairo.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Allen and Allen Funeral Home's Celebration of Life Chapel.
Services for Mr. Golden will be held on Friday, October 3rd, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home's Celebration of Life Chapel with Rev. Josh LaJeunesse officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman.
