The other day, I thought a lot about what I wish I could say to you on what will be 8 years since you left this world.
Dad, you were my hero. I live every day striving to be like you - kind, patient, and incredibly successful. You were the absolute best role model and father I could have ever wished and hoped for. Your memory will always live on in me. That´s the best way I can honor you - to be like you and make you proud.
I miss you more than words can say.
Until we meet again.
Your loving son,
Dylan

Oh Daddy, no amount of time that passes will ever fill the void or heal the wound your passing left. I’m so glad to have visited your grave earlier this month. Even though I know your only there in body, laying on the grass next to your grave made me feel closer to you for a little while.
I will never let your legacy die. You were the best father and most incredible man, and by striving to be like you every day, your memory lives on through me.
I can’t believe it’s been 7 years. I’ll never stop missing you. Until we meet again.
I ordered a custom foot stone to add my own personal touch. He always called me "precious".

How has it been six years without you tomorrow? I miss you every day, and always will, for the rest of my life. Father’s Day and June 20th will be even harder now, dad. We have to say goodbye to a beloved pet today. Please look out for Woodfin and make her feel safe on the other side.
I love you, Dad. I can’t wait to visit again and see your foot stone in person.

Dad,
Visiting you was so difficult, but I’m glad I did. I’ll be back in March with your daughter in law. I know you’re always with me in spirit. I love you and miss you so much.

Father’s Day is a hard day without you, especially since tomorrow marks the 5th anniversary of your passing. I’m finally going to make it up to visit your grave in August, Dad. I’m sorry it took so long. I think of you and Mom daily. No matter how much time passes, I’ll always miss you. I love you so much, Dad. I promise to keep making you proud - that’s the best thing I can do to honor you and continue your legacy.

Not a single day goes by that I don't think about you, Dad. Just dropping by to let you know that I've moved up in my career again, and I've finally found a company that really values me. I'm trying to walk in your footsteps and make you proud! I love you, Dad. I'll be at the beach for your birthday, and will be riding the waves and soaking up the sun thinking of you.

Looks like my most recent post submitted under my wife's name. Auto-correct, sorry.
I miss you every day Dad. Mom, too. For those who don't know, Lauri Goldman passed away about 7 months after my Dad.

Michael Goldman was the first VP at Frederick Goldman Inc. to do my first review. Michael gave me a glowing review and helped to up my self-confidence in myself. He was a wonderful boss, mentor and friend. News of his passing saddened me greatly. Even after he and I were no longer at Frederick Goldman we still kept in touch, I am so glad we did...
Rest in peace my friend,

Dear Lori and Dylan,
I am deeply saddened having heard the news about Michael's passing. He was my supervisor for almost 20 years at Frederick Goldman and was one of the most respected and generous people I know. He was a prime example of giving 100% to his job, family and friends. His work ethic, sense of humor, wit, intelligence and kindness was a model for all those who knew him. My wife Carol and I hope that you can take some comfort in knowing that he touched many lives for the better, and the world is truly a better place because of him.

Dear Lori and Dylan,
I am so saddened to hear Michael passing away. I cannot believe it. He believed in me and gave me wonderful advice for my work for years. Thanks to him I was able to overcame serious issues and grew. He also shared his passion in his music, book, and family with me. He has been an amazing mentor to me who have very little understanding how to survive in New York. I hope Lori is doing well. I have deepest sympathy for you two. If there is anything I can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met your father at SCORE and although I didn't know him well. We might of met 3-4x and during these meetings he was very caring and interested in helping me grow my business. I appreciated him very much as he volunteered his time without any pay. He one day stopped answering my emails so I wasn't sure what happened. I was recently told the news. Sending you love and prayers to your family during this difficult time.

Dylan, this is a lovely tribute to your Dad, who was one of my favorite people and longest friends (>40 years). I agree with you: he was one of the gentlest and most caring people it's been my (& my wife Nancy's) privilege to know. You may remember me (from when I was married to Carol) at Lake Naomi c. 1984-5, with our daughter Lauren. Our hearts go out to you, Laurie, and family.

I remember him very well. Having dealt with him on various financial business applications that I developed during my employment with Frederick Goldman Inc.
Going back in memory lane training Michael on an IBM keyboard on an application. He was so thorough with all of his questions. Vividly observing him type each letter with one finger at a time. No matter how long time goes by that picture of him will never to be forgotten.
When I was laid off from Frederick Goldman Inc.we connected thru Linkedin. He graciously took his time and looked over my resume and gave me his recommendations.
