Michael David Gottlich

July 29, 1975 – July 7, 2025

“Loved deeply, worked hard, and lived with heart.”

Michael David Gottlich, 49, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away surrounded by loved ones. He was born on July 29, 1975, to David and Linda Gottlich and was a proud graduate of Castleberry High School, Class of 1994.

Michael was a gifted and hardworking man who could build a house from the ground up, fix just about any car, and always had a project in motion. His hands were rarely still, and neither was his spirit. He loved the beach, lived for his family, and was known for both his strong work ethic and fun, loving nature. He played as hard as he worked, filling rooms with laughter, joy, and genuine connection.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Gottlich; his nephew, Jack Bullard; and his grandson, Zayd, Greyson, and Zoro.

Michael is survived by his fiancée, Yvette, with whom he shared the past 10 years. He deeply loved her children and grandchildren as his own, embracing his role as a stepfather and grandfather with open arms. He is also survived by his father, David Gottlich; his three sisters, Mary Bett, Susan Huitt, and Sarah Waite, his mother-in-law Marcella Gomez; his nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and children. Michael was a devoted brother, uncle, fiancé, stepdad, grandpa, and son-in-law, leaving behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and dedication.

His life was a testament to resilience and heart, and he will be remembered for his kindness, his craftsmanship, and his unwavering commitment to family.
