Michael Denorris Grant, 66, of Savannah, Georgia unexpectedly passed away around August 10, 2025.

Michael was born in Lambertville, NJ on February 10, 1959 to the parentage of Lester and Juanita Grant. His formative years were spent in Newark, New Jersey until the untimely death of his mother in 1972.

From there, Michael spent most of his life in various cities in Georgia, culmination in Savannah, Georgia where he later joined the US Army and became a Culinary Arts Specialist. This became his passion in life and, led him to become an entrepreneur with his own food truck, feeding a multitude of people around the Savannah area.

Michael's passing comes as a shock to his family, friends, and loved ones, who are still reeling at the loss. One of the last conversations he had with one of his siblings was that he was headed to go and live in Africa. He loved his family and had a special his nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Juanita Grant.

He is survived by his siblings, Marilyn Ojadi of Lexington, SC, Rose (Ron) Stanley of Whitman, MA, Lester (Christina) Grant, Jr. of Brockton, MA, Tracy Mason of Reidsville, GA, Sheila (Ted) Hart of Columbia, SC and Robert (Adrienne) Pittman of Hinesville, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
