Michael W. Greene, 68, of East Templeton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025, at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA, after a brief illness.
Mike was born in Massachusetts in October of 1956. Michael spent his career working diligently as a software engineer at Tyco, Simplex, and Johnson Controls for 46 years. He dedicated his life to his work and managing those around him.
When not working, Mike loved ham radios, bowling, and watching his grandchildren grow and compete in sports along the way. However, his favorite activity was traveling to Las Vegas with his late wife and his daughter for 30+ years. Once retired, he spent his time with his dogs, Zeus and Max. They were a huge part of this era of his life.
He was predeceased by his wife, Tammy (Wilson) Greene of 40 years. He leaves behind his only daughter, Stacey (Greene) Schultz, son-in-law Edward Schultz, and 2 grandchildren, Krysta and Kyle Schultz. He also leaves behind many friends and coworkers from his past, as well as his best friend, Dawn Bilodeau.
Mike was considered one of a kind to many people. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those he cared for. He will be missed dearly for his sarcasm and dad jokes.
Calling hours and service will be held on August 8th, 2025, from 9:00 - 11:00 AM in Mack Family Funeral Home at 105 Central St, in Gardner, MA.
