Michael H. Harshbarger

1941 - 2025

Michael H. "Mike" Harshbarger, 84, of Hudson, Ind., passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born March 18, 1941 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late George and Jeannette (née Flack) Harshbarger. Mike graduated from Central High School, and worked in the tool and die industry prior to opening his auto dealership, Suburban Auto Sales.

He married the love of his life, Donna Burks on January 21, 1967 in Fort Wayne and from this union, two children were born. Mike had many passions and interests, fueled by his career, including high-performance and classic automobile restoration and collecting die-cast versions, attending NASCAR races with Donna in their motorhome for over twenty years and lake life. He was a man of honor, integriy and intention whether in conversation, assisting on a project or playing cornhole . . . he will be missed dearly.

Mike is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Donna; sons, Mick (Rosie) Harshbarger and Matthew Harshbarger; grandsons, Bryan (Sally) Harshbarger, and Mitchell Harshbarger; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Maggie and Patrick Harshbarger; sister, Sally Meeks; and beloved Bassett Hound, George. Funeral Service is 1 PM, Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E Dupont Rd, Fort Wayne with calling two hours prior.
