Michael Eugene Haroldson of Albert Lea passed away at his sister's home on November 14, 2025, after his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Michael was born on August 2, 1959, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, the third child of Kenneth and Elaine (Iverson) Haroldson. He attended Albert Lea Central High and was known to some as "Mikey." He worked at Viracon in Owatonna and worked for local farmers.
Mikey was an avid music lover, with his favorite band being The Beatles. He often played guitar with his closest friends, forming groups of musicians for jam sessions in their backyards while enjoying a few beers. In addition to his love for music, Mikey had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He was often found caring for his garden where he grew unique plants and trees, feeding wild birds, fishing, searching for arrowheads and fossils, and admiring the night sky through his telescope. He also enjoyed watching classic cartoons and was a fan of The Three Stooges.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Elaine Haroldson. He is survived by his brother Robert (DeDe) Haroldson, and sister, Susan Bowman; nieces and nephews, Samantha Bekaert, Kara (Dan) Pryde, Dustin Haroldson, Cody (Chelsey) Haroldson, Terissa Haroldson, Judd Goskeson, Theresa LaPlante, and Melissa (Anthony Kamish) LaPlante; great-nieces and nephews, Jaeda (Dalton) Kingsley, Laura Bekaert, Macy, Boston, Gavin, and Cade Pryde, Kenneth Goskeson, Romeo Bernal, LaVinniah Kamish, and Romman Dixon; and many friends.
The family would like to offer their sincere appreciation to Mayo Hospice and his doctors in Rochester for their care of Mikey, as well as to his close friends for their support and love.
