A visitation for Michael Wayne Harris, 70, will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana.
Michael was born on September 10, 1954 in Shreveport, Louisiana to John Mark Harris and Pauline Gill Harris and passed away on March 7, 2025 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends while hunting, fishing, and playing his guitar for Jesus.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sheila Harris; son, Jamey Harris and wife, Jamie; daughter, Amanda Sloan and husband, Chad; sister, Kat Arnold and husband, Dean; grandchildren, Macy Harris, Shelby Halsell and husband, Preston, Cotton Sloan, Jeffrey Harris, Kelsey Sloan, Callie Sloan, Miranda Sloan; two great-grandchildren, Ella Kate Halsell, Liam Harris and one on the way.
The family would like to express special thanks to his best friend, Gary Paul Bertrand, for always sticking by his side through the years.
