He was born on June 2, 1950, in French Camp, California to the late Donald Harrison and Joyce Nunley Harrison.
Michael was an active member of North Jackson Church of Christ and proudly served in the United States Air Force, for four years, as a jet mechanic.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald W. Harrison and sister, Brenda McGlathery.
Michael is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Jackie Harrison of Jackson, Tennessee; two sons, Jack Harrison (Michelle) of Fair Oaks, California and Rick Harrison (Tina) of Clinton, Tennessee; daughter, Sherri Bruer of Lodi, California; and sister Tammy Harrison of Idaho.
Other survivors include eight granddaughters, Brittany, Jessica, Kristin, Jami, Jodi, Mykala, Nicole and Madison; two great grandsons; and one great granddaughter.
A celebration of life will be held at North Jackson Church of Christ at a later date.
